Nakajima san enjoyed a long career with Yamaha, working on engine development and later becoming managing director global sales for motorcycles. He then served as a board director of transmission products manufacturer Univance.
He became connected with AKI through the Japan Strategic Management Society and has supported a number of projects with his connections and technical/commercial expertise.
He is a member of the Japan SAE and a frequent speaker and consultant to Japanese politicians on manufacturing industry. He also has numerous connections in the global automotive industry through his work on passenger car engine development.
He is currently writing a book on suggestions for revitalising Japanese manufacturing industry.
